Deep Blue Heroes
Our youngest and most important Ambassadors are our “Deep Blue Heroes”; they are children at the elementary school level (K-6) who talk to their parents, grandparents, friends and even local businesses about the importance of preventing plastic pollution. It could be as simple as talking to the manager at a grocery store, with the help of their mom or dad, of course, about the importance of selling mushrooms in paper bags instead of plastic packaging, or asking their local fast food restaurant to stop using straws. Deep Blue Heroes may be our youngest ambassadors, but definitely the most important voices as they are the ones inheriting this problem, and it’s their planet they’re fighting for! It’s important that they really understand the importance of their voice and learn to use it to save their ocean and their planet.
