For High School Students Grade 8 to 12

In 2020, Deep Blue Cleanup partnered with Professor Lisa Meyer’s Communication Skills for Engineering Students course (CCDP 2100), at Carleton University, and our partnership is still going strong in 2022. The course objective is to help engineering students develop written and oral communication skills required in a professional engineering role. Our volunteers have been working as advisors with the Ottawa Eco-Talent Network (OETN). Melanie Abdelnour and Scott Barker continue to work as teaching advisors helping the students link their material to Ontario curriculum.

The final summaries and video presentation prepared for this course are featured below and are designed for high school teachers to share with their students. We are so impressed with the educational videos our university students are creating for our high school students!
